Oh to be 18 again...

TODAY is Kelsey's 18th Birthday! She is the baby of the family and we love her! For her birthday we wanted to put together a book of advice. So, I am asking all of my blogging friends and stalkers to give me your thoughts. Think back to when you were 18 years old, graduating from High School, dating the school football star, moving onto college, leaving home, etc.

What advice do you have for my little sister???

Leave your comments below and we will type them and put them in a book to give to her. We thought it would be fun for her to read. Thanks for your help!

Enjoy each moment. Especially enjoy the wonderful moments, and learn quickly from the not so wonderful moments. Influence the world for good. And be an awesome aunt, and let Renee have a day off! :-)

Love yourself, you are your own best friend...and...Your life is not what happens to you, but what you do with what happens to you.

Be you, no matter where you are or what you are doing. Cause at the end of the day you are the only one who has to look in the mirror and love what is looking back!

Kelsey,
You were beautiful the day you were born! You are stunning at 18... you will be Breathtaking at 80!
I think you and Molly must have had such a great time in heaven while you were waiting to come here 5 days apart. I'll bet the 2 of you planned your arrivals with great excitement.

Don't feel pressure to go and get married right away, even if all your friends do (however, if it is right, then do it!). This is your chance to do things on your own. Travel, get an education and find out who you really are. Really find out who you are and embrace it. Don't waste time with people who don't treat you with anything other than the respect you deserve. Date a lot. Have so much fun--but be smart!

Two things I have learned from my past is that we are worth standing up for. And no matter what others may be doing or saying - there is nothing like a clear conscience.

It is time to discover who you are. Don't let others make that decision for you, it is all for you. You are the one that has to live with your decisions, so take your time, have fun, and pray alot.

There is such a small window of life where you are single and an adult! You are old enough and free enough to do WHATEVER YOU WANT! So do it!
