Do you remember playing with Mr. Potato Head? I do. I thought that it was the coolest toy. I think we just might get one for Austin for Christmas but I haven't seen them in a long time. Do you think a two year old would enjoy this toy or would the pieces end up all over my house? Any thoughts?

We have a couple of them. Bought them for our three year old, they love them but the pieces do scatter, but at least they are not too small.

I see mr.potatoe heads everywhere and I thought they must really be in these days! I think once he figures out how to play with it he'll like it.
My kids liked it if I was playing with them...but we just sold it at a garage sale because all those pieces were kind of a pain. Not to be "scrooge" or anything. If you're thinking about it you should get it for sure!
we got one for max when he was 2- he loved it. He's in Toy Story- so it was a HUGE hit! Does Austin like that movie? Can't go wrong with him...he's a classic! (I really didn't say that word seriously!)
We have three-yes three! Riley is hilarious with them and likes to mix up the pieces kinda like in toystory where he says "look I'm picasso". The pieces do get everywhere but Riley likes to clean up-that won't last. You can actually buy just accessory pieces that are girly or police men or starwars. I thought I would get some for Rileys stocking. Good luck! Hope this helps.
Hallie loves it! The pieces havent gotten lost yet either...it came in a plastic case...I think he would love it!
My kids love it, we always lose pieces and then find them again later! They have them everywhere, why just today I was looking at some Star Wars ones at Target. Or juts get some face pieces and give him a real potatoe to stick them in....that is how it all started anyway! ;-)
