Happy Birthday Grandma B.

We spent Saturday afternoon in Midway celebrating Grandma Bezzant's 80th Birthday! It was fun few hours. I was exposed to all the wonderful talents that Grandma has and was grateful for the opportunity to show our kids what a wonderful woman she is! I hate this picture of me but it is important to have for posterity sake!

Isn't this the truth...

I stole this from a friends blog but thought that it was hilarious! I guess we all live and learn. Enjoy!

1st baby: You begin wearing maternity clothes as soon as your OB/GYN confirms your pregnancy.

2nd baby: You wear your regular clothes for as long as possible.

The Layette:

1st baby: You pre-wash newborn's clothes, color-coordinate them, and fold them neatly in the baby's little bureau.

2nd baby: You check to make sure that the clothes are clean and
discard only the ones with the darkest stains.

3rd baby: Boys can wear pink, can't they?

to wake your firstborn.

you can go home and wash and boil it.

off with some juice from the baby's bottle.

3rd baby: You wipe it off on your shirt and pop it back in.

1st baby: You change your baby's diapers every hour,
whether they need it or not.

2nd baby: You change their diaper every two to three hours, if needed.

complain about the smell or you see it sagging to their knees.

Swallowing Coins (a favorite):

1st child: When first child swallows a coin, you rush the child to the hospital and demand x-rays

2nd child: When second child swallows a coin, you carefully watch for the coin to pass.

3rd child: When third child swallows a coin you deduct it from his allowance!

Pitter Patter...

I love the pitter patter of little feet...I can hear my kids upstairs playing with friends and it makes me smile. I also love the pitter patter of little feet inside my tummy...due to my addiction to orange juice, this baby has become quite busy. Last, I love the pitter patter of the rain that I can hear falling...it has been a rain/snow mix all day and though it is freezing, it makes me smile (at least for today). Not much else happening at our house...so that's as good as a new posts gets today!

We're Working On It...

When your two year old begs to "go potty" and will actually do it if you allow him to - I think that is a sign that it is time to at least take a stab at potty training. Austin has had almost a full day of no wet diapers and is now sporting his new Thomas the Train underwear. We will see how this goes but at least its worth a shot!

UNDER 100...

No, not under 100 pounds (in my dreams) but my pregnancy countdown is now under 100 days! I thought the day would never come - here's to the next 99 days of pure pregnancy bliss...or something like that.
